			All of this is to keep his rival's ire off of his true goals, and to hide how deep his selfish greed truly goes. Mammon does not just want gold and wealth, he wants everything, from the Hells, to the heavens, to the entire realm itself. Mammon's greed knows no bounds, but still he understand to achieve his desires, he must play the long game. Desperate grabs for power and property would only get him in trouble. And there is nothing Mammon won't do, no one Mammon won't hurt, to achieve his desires.

			When making deals with mortals, mammon won't outright trade power or wealth for a mortal's soul, but rather will have them incur a debt. While this mortal has the debt, they are forced to serve Mammon in return till that debt is paid off. The tricky part is, is the interest rates on these debts, rates that increase the debt faster then it can be paid off, forcing these mortals to serve Mammon for all eternity working in his enterprise as eternal free labor.

			But even with this fiendish greed burning inside it, it hasn't stopped Mammon from growing genuine attachments to certain mortals. But be these attachments of Mammon showing genuine care for someone, or a twisted version of perceived ownership, no one knows. While mammon desires to have everything, he does not wish to be alone and enjoys the company of those he grows attached to. Notable examples include the members of [[the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company]], and the planes walking adventuring team, [[the Hellraisers]].

He can inflict a debt on a creature that is both a physical and financial burden on them, crushing their bodies until either their wallets or body gives out first.
