			A team of Tempest Brother Expeditionary members forged an alliance with Kalzivach and joined him aboard the Devil's Bounty to assault Frostfell Keep with his hoard of devils. The company members fight their way to the main throne room and confront the Frost Giant leader, Prince Ulfriit. During the battle, the party recover the ring and destabilize the rift, which accidentally opens the way for a massive primordial named [[Leviathan]] to begin attacking the castle through the rift. In the chaos, the company members manage to persevere and slay Prince Ulftiir. Then, using the power of the ring, the party banishes the remaining frost giants back into the Plane of Ice.

			After Prince Ulftiir's death, his mother, the white dragon Ysildra, flew into a rage. Her anger threatened to freeze the jungles of Western Amusa, and so company members used the decapitated head of Prince Ulftiir to draw her into a final battle and slay her.

			While company members were slaying Ysildra, others journeyed into the Plane of Ice to take advantage of her absence and raid her hoard to make sure none of the remaining Frost Giants could use it to form a new offensive. With the help of the cursed explorer [[Oliver Vincent Bartholemew]], the party journeyed through the frigid wastes. Climbing up to Ysildra's lair, the party did battle with the lair's guardians, a towering [[Cyclops]] and a freezing Hydra\|Cryo-Hydra]]. The party defeated the guardians and claimed Ysildra's hoard for themselves. In her lair, they discovered multiple monsters frozen in ice, having been captured by Ysildra. The party freed a number of them, including Lord Hulfgar, Prince Ulfiir's father who was slain by Ysildra with his spirit held captive, an [[angel]] named [[Samiael]] who returned with them to the waystation, a strange [[dwarf]] with a lion's tail named [[Humphrey]], and eldritch tentacle monster, and an [[Efreeti]] who granted the party a limited wish.

			== Aftermath ==
			After the Strife of Fimbulwinter concluded, the remaining frost giants were once again banished to the Plane of Ice. But after the battle, it was revealed that in their hunt for the Ring of Winter's Wrath, the giants had uncovered the secrets of another treasure, [[The Lost Hoard]]. As the giants were banished, what they learned was shared with all of Amusa, starting a continent wide hunt for this mysterious treasure.
