Why Jaxzo has the mark on her head: basically Xilas managed to grab a group of, let's say thematically 13 drow from prominent drow houses with the intent that we would create a cabal that would return to our houses and infect them from the inside out. Jaxzo thought this was all pretense to become a vessel for Lolth, but when it came to be her time to get transformed, that's when the ritual got messed up. Jaxzo, Xilas, and a some of the Drow survived (one for each party member at the session?) and Jaxzo was taken to The Under Spire: the inverted tip of the mountain where horrible, horrible things happen to drow sent there. She eventually managed to escape, thus why she roams the surface |
