Bosa Fantum is a loxodon magician (read: wizard) who recently joined a circus troupe in the Aw Heckna campaign.

Personality

Bosa is a very cautious, and careful about how she acts and what she says. After being looked down upon in her youth, she strives for acceptance with her peers.

History

Bosa was left on the steps of an orphanage in Galik as a baby. She is unsure of any relations, but as a Loxodon, she was not treated the same as the other orphans. In order to ensure her own survival, she learned how to beg/pickpocket on the streets. Bosa even took a few jobs with the Begger's Guild to make ends meet She later learned how to perform magic (both the 'fake' magic and actual magic) from a mysterious member of the Galik Underground. She never learned his name.

Bosa eventually began performing on the streets for money and was fairly successful. Her contacts in the Beggar's Guild eventually gave her a tip about her family's location being connected to the circus that was coming to town. Always cautious, she found a group of other performers to join, which is where the Aw Heckna campaign begins.

Adventure Log

1/18 - - Meeting the troupe in Galik

Otwin suggests that we go check out the carnival, so we wander into the forest to find it. Bella Belzon (Spiderlady) came up to us in the middle of the woods and began leading us to the carnival. Bella recommends getting the popcorn at the food court. Arrive at the Revelia gate, Bella, then promptly leaves. Spent too much time talking to the tree that no one could understand. A humanoid figure waves us over from behind a tent, he seems to be injured, tries to warn us off. Conrad, been in the carnival for a while, "don't want you to die, and come back as something else." the fuck... He is after the Ringleader Heckna, go to the hostel, food court is mostly safe. Lost and Found is definitely safe. Will find us later (probably will find him dead, oof he seemed nice). The Parade starts, a giant gold cage, with a pretty giant antlion inside. The ringleader is on the float, winks at us. A member comes out and greets us. Pinky is a clown and shows us the map (which is a face that speaks to us). Tickets can be gotten in the ticketing booth. Map was a humanoid at one point, became a map after talking to Heckna. Pinky is probably not very willing participant. Heckna can be found in Midway. We are totally stuck here forever now. We have gained the map. Make it to the ticket booth, Polly's pocket full of tickets. She gives each of us a booklet of 10 tickets. We head to the food court. Flophouse is the gambling hall.

2/1 - - We get our asses kicked by popcorn..

Handy Helpers have health potions, the one in the hostel (broken one) give 5 tickets, get potion and 3 tickets back.

2/15 - - Explored the Hostile Hostel

2/29 - - Leveled up

Several spells in the game require specific material components that must be purchased for gold pieces in order to cast, and wizards looking to copy spells into their book from scrolls or spellbooks require a certain amount of gold’s worth of magical inks in order to do so. Components or inks can be purchased at the Lost and Found or the Souvenir Shop. Assume that 50 gp worth of these can be obtained for 1 RT. If the price of inks or a component would cause this to divide unevenly, round the total down (to a minimum of 1 RT). For example, a 3rd-level wizard of the evocation arcane tradition wants to copy a scorching ray spell from a scroll into their spellbook. As scorching ray is a 2nd-level spell of the evocation school, it only costs them 25 gp worth of magical inks per level of the spell (50 gp total) in order to do this. This means the required magical inks would cost 1 RT in The Revelia

3/14 - - Made it to the Lost & Found

4/25 - - Petting Zoo

Conrad doesn't trust us, but probably knows something about the symbols.

Casting find familiar to get little bunny familiar in between sessions.

Missed a session

6/6 - - Going to see the Toymaker

Successfully find bunny familiar Pistachio.

Toymaker creates everything mechanical in the revelia and "Heckna controls everything".

Give pinky token and pinky basically has a panic attack, "sunk in wood, steam and fire, hecknas happy healing helpers, all aboard for the revelia, where's conrad, heckna turns every frown upside down forever, where'd he get the trinket like that?"

Locke and Toymaker are in kuhoots; Doesn't trust us yet, but getting jobs from Locke will improve our relationship with them (resistence???)....

LEVEL UP LETS GO

Locke gives us a quest to get a doll from the security station, that records voices so he wants us to be stealthy.

Otwin is being candied for 24 hours and has already lost his ability to use one leg.

End outside of the security station.

7/18 - - Outside of Security Station

Must retrieve mariennette from the inside of a pair of underpants that are located on top of the flag pole in front of the security building.

Tiktik scales the flag pole and Otwin attempts a distraction (doesn't do great). Lulu and Bosa create a distraction and pull 4 of the five away. Tiktik cuts the pants off the pole, the remaining clown sees her and Otwin. Otwin uses decanter of water but doesn't really help. Lulu takes the doll to the toymaker, it is totally trashed. Everyone escapes the battle alive.

8/1 - - Somewhere??

Pistachio died to ballpit. Bosa resummons Pistachio, and everyone meets up at Lost & Found.

Arachne (he) - Ring leader of acrobats, runs the show in the Big Top. Squiggle-magie

The Seer and TikTik goes in the break the news to Locke.

Locke gives a second chance, to get package unopened and undamaged to Conrad.. and return with favorable tidings.

  • Conrad: Can be found at Felix elixirs or petting zoo

Head out to the petting zoo, where Seer last saw Conrad.. Note: the Shepard really likes Pistachio

Seer gives Conrad the box, which he opens and it has a parchment with "TEST" on it, with crow feather. Conrad gives the box back, and we head back to the Lost & Found. Locke wants to give us another job.

Felix sells a beer mug shaped like an owl, DO NOT GIVE TICKETS, we need to steal it.

Long rest back at hostel, have heart-to-heart about where everyone stands about being at the circus.

8/15 - - Hostel

Planning the heist; Two teams, one distraction, one steals; Plan went flawlessly, Team distraction each got shots, and Lulu got a wink from Heckna while bolting back to Locke's. Team distractions got very drunk, and fireballed a group of hecklers on their way back.

Locke looked haunted but brightened up upon seeing us. Gives us payments and offers another job. Wants us to pop four balloons (blimps) with his face on them. First one is in the petting zoo. Shopping!!

Head to the petting zoo; Shepard scared of ?Sophie?. Balloon animals, he doesn't care about, but stuffies he does. Chuckles is not just a bear. Shoot balloon, explodes (DO NOT BE CLOSE TO BALLOON).

Seer pulled George (the Owl) from the bag of tricks and had them scout for us. End up at the dunk tank. (Puddles is name of half-orc at tank) Pop the balloon in the dunk tank.

8/29 - - Dunk Tank

Completed job, Locke gave tickets and said to ask him anything. Asked about symbols, said that if you can find someone to translate (Toymaker). Hidden area in back of Dysterium, maybe check out, but DO NOT TRUST THE MAP (that everyone totally remembered lol) GET LORE; secret place behind big top, DITCH THE MAP... Locke trusts Toymaker with life, would like to get Pinky out, and wouldn't mind taking the Shepard. Locke is trapped in his lost and found and cannot remember his og name

Commotion outside; LEVEL UP

We exit the tent and Pinky is on a rampage, and we all get teleported by Heckna (why did we get dragged into this??)

Pinky getting brainwashed again, Toymaker leads us away from certain danger, through casino. Lady in room was named Sophie. Teleport skill was meant Heckna was in danger, only he can do it. We accidentally got taken, so now we can return to the lab and enter the Dismaydium at will.. Toymaker does not recommend doing so immediately.

Flop House is casino and has lab...

Bounty out for the axel that Pinky was using and might be able to kill Heckna.

Next session, Bosa goes first, going to cast second level magic missile and help Lulu (guy was bloodied after 20 damage).

9/12 - - Mid combat

We successfully scare away the children, Otwin went down once, but nat 20'd his way to being conscious.

Tiny car (clown car), can rent them around the circus. We take the tiny car to the Lost N Found... (5 red tickets for a trip). Everything looks a bit more rotten.

We get rid of the map!! thank goodness. Waxworks is the name of the lab. Toymaker was created by Heckna, but has no love for his creator and wants to see his creations freed.

Ciscoro, former master of ceremony, right hand man, tried to betray Heckna. The giant heart (Tunnel of Love) is his heart and he is trapped in torture inside and we can go to talk to him.

Toymaker wants us to come talk to him; Locke will give us jobs if we need tickets; Locke wants us to find the axel, since that was a good weapon against Heckna.

DO NOT GO TALK TO TOYMAKER UNTIL STAFANO TELLS US WE CAN.

Take short rest; The mark is for the people in the know, to let them know that this place is a place to be free from Heckna's. Gives us what his symbol means, check Google Doc for images and notes on that.
