Nůžky is supposed to have been one of the Eyes of Chronepsis, which accounts for their appearing across such a wide span of history. They are said to have originated in the CR era and to reside at the dawn of time.

The metallic item Nůžky carries in many accounts is referred to as a Klarkwand and is said to have powers of divination as well as the potential to bring terrible destruction of an unspecified nature.
