The Vecnan Campsite was a location a few miles off of one of one of Kiston's main rivers, close to the southernside mountains.

Several structures were known to have been constructed by members of the Cult of Vecna at some point before 207 BR including two stone huts, and a hand carved archway.
The Ancient Arch[edit | edit source]
The archway is notable as it was carved by the magician Fermi in an attempt to imitate an already standing archway on the site that appeared to be several centuries overgrown, a prehistoric relic found on the island from an unknown time. After investigating, the arch appeared to have ancient Runes which roughly translated to the modern day equivalent of a "Banishment" or "Plane Jump" spell formula.
The same runes would be copied over by The Venship into a device later known as the Kiston Kalachakra. It was theorized that the gateway may have been an original entry point of primordial forces to originally populate Kiston with dragons from the universe (multiverse?).
