Andy does have Dick as his middle name, but only draws on his inner asshole when the situation warrants. He also appears to enjoy writing about himself in the third person on bio pages.

History[edit | edit source]

Andy was born in 1971, on the 17th of September in a hospital in the K+A area of Philly. Andy died on 15 March 2018 at the age of 47. The decided that it was a better idea to stick around and see what happened next. Within 12 hours he was dead again, and again declined to cross over into the really warm and loving light, instead chose to return to spend more time with his wife - Lyndsey Hagerty.

Andy Started to play RPG in the mid 1970’s when his older brother returned from Kutztown College returned on spring break and brought with him this cool game that everyone on campus was playing. The assorted players started in Basic D&D changing over to AD&D when that came out.  Fond Memories of picking up the brand new Players Handbook in 1978.

Throughout the 1970’s and 80’s Andy and his group of friends played on a weekly basis, often starting Friday after school, and continuing till Sunday, with sleepovers not uncommon. Several other systems were played at this time including but not limited to: Robotech, Battletech, Twilight 2000, Car Wars, Marvel superheros, Runequest, Tunnels and Trolls, 2300 AD, Star Fronters, Boot Hill, Gamma world, GURPS, Shadowrun, among several others

Andy Graduated Highschool in 1989 and headed into the Navy, where he continued Playing on a regular basis in the Barracks.  From 1989 till 1995 Andy Traveled the world via Submarine and gamed on the mess decks whenever possible.  After leaving the Navy Andy took a hiatus from RPGS, causing him to miss E3.5 and the 4th edition incarnations of the game.

Andy married the love of his life on 09/10/11, Lyndsey, and they are still not only married, but best Friends.

In 2018 after many attempts by the universe to kill Andy, it was finally successful. Andy awoke one day to severe pain and was rushed to the hospital with Necrotizing Pancreatitis where he died in the ICU that night. After seeing the light beings, and the tunnel leading to the light, Andy chose to stay earthbound and not leave his wife behind. After being life flighted in an shitty Ambulance to Danville PA, he again died in Danville hospital. less than 12 hours after for last death. During the months of hospital living and the more months of relearning how to do things like Eat Food, Walk, and other basic functions, Andy rediscovered his love of his World, and sparked an interest in playing Dungeons and Dragons again. Lyndsey was very interested in playing even prior to this, just never had an opportunity to attend a game. They took advantage of this rebirth to learn the 5e rule set and start playing. They also have has a chance to attend many conventions in the past year or so.

Andy has played Dungeons and Dragons in every time Zone across the globe. The mess deck table was running when the sub crossed the Equator, the international date line, The north pole - both geographical and magnetic. Andy has played in many of the states, including playing at Lake Geneva, WI. This player has also played in Europe, South and North America, Africa, and Asia. Andy has attended many conventions across the Midwest and the east coast. Andy has played in times of peace, and in times of war during Desert Storm. During his travels he has had a chance to meet many of the known and not so well known names in the Role Playing genre.

Currently living in Central PA, he currently runs a weekly table in Lewistown PA using the 5e rules in a world that he has developed since the 1970’s.  He also seeks to continue to travel and play in various other tables in the area as well as attending conventions to continue to experience as many playing styles and worlds of adventures. Due to the particular situations of the health issues having hard days and easy days, he is currently not working. He assists his Wife Lyndsey at her Metaphysical Shoppe - Metaphysics ' A Spirited Space' in Lewistown, PA. The plus side is with coming back to life in 2018, he is enjoying being a 4 year old in this current life.

He is excited to delve into the world of Quelmar and meet new and interesting Player Characters.

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

Andy cannot be killed by normal means. Well, he can apparently be killed, he just refuses to stay down. This may be due to stupidity, stubbornness, or some combination of the two.

Andy has used his free time to work on crafting miniature terrain and models for tabletop gaming. He has a rough business under the name of Dashing DM Dungeon Designs to grow into something to do while not actively gaming and to create unique terrain for his and other people's tables.

Attacks and Weapons [edit | edit source]

He is fond of his wit, and sense of humor. With a depth of role playing experience he makes a willy and cunning player as well as a fun DM.

First, however, she waited for a few minutes to see if she was going to shrink any further: she felt a little nervous about this; “for it might end, you know,” said Alice to herself, “in my going out altogether, like a candle. I wonder what I should be like then?” And she tried to fancy what the flame of a candle is like after the candle is blown out, for she could not remember ever having seen such a thing.

After a while, finding that nothing more happened, she decided on going into the garden at once; but, alas for poor Alice! when she got to the door, she found she had forgotten the little golden key, and when she went back to the table for it, she found she could not possibly reach it: she could see it quite plainly through the glass, and she tried her best to climb up one of the legs of the table, but it was too slippery; and when she had tired herself out with trying, the poor little thing sat down and cried.

“Come, there’s no use in crying like that!” said Alice to herself, rather sharply; “I advise you to leave off this minute!” She generally gave herself very good advice, (though she very seldom followed it), and sometimes she scolded herself so severely as to bring tears into her eyes; and once she remembered trying to box her own ears for having cheated herself in a game of croquet she was playing against herself, for this curious child was very fond of pretending to be two people. “But it’s no use now,” thought poor Alice, “to pretend to be two people! Why, there’s hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!” .
