SUSPIRIA is a Nerviónic Lancer working under Simon Dominguez as a Chemist/Artillerist.
We hired her as a chemist? - Symphony
If it is within her skill set, then it would be foolish not to make use of it. - Sonata
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Standing at roughly 5'10", SUSPIRIA's body is adorned with brilliant silver piercings that contrast the dark brown color of her eyes and hair. Her muscles are naturally developed from years of manual labor and mechanical maintenance. Her hair is tied into two buns at the back of her head as the rest falls messily near her shoulders. As the Earhart's reactor burns quite hot, SUSPIRIA mostly opts to wear any tank top she has available along with her jumpsuit, which is regularly undone. SUSPIRIA does not opt to wear a pilot hardsuit, as she believes it to be entirely ineffective at preventing injury or death to a Lancer outside of their mech. Her left arm up to her elbow is missing some tissue and muscle mass and lacks most feeling after a chemical incident in her youth. Similarly, her right palm has suffered nerve and skin damage from the same detonation.
I'm with her on the hardsuit thing! If it's not a mech, it's basically useless! - Symphony
Some protection is better than no protection. - Sonata
Personality[edit | edit source]
SUSPIRIA is quite reserved, and usually resigns herself to conversation with one person at a time. Despite her personal conflicts with Nervión's corrupt monarchy, SUSPIRIA remains proud of her heritage and hopes to someday return home. She adores intellectual conversation and is often in search of collaborative opportunities.
She's real fun to chat with. You should talk with her, sister! - Symphony
I think she may be slightly scared of me. - Sonata
History[edit | edit source]
Perpetva de Cabarceno Vespasiana was born on June 5th, 5011u on the planet Nervión, a distant Cradle-like planet within the Cascade line thought to previously have been home to an ancient civilization, likely a stopping point for the Voladores. At 16, Perpetva was arrested for her involvement as a runner in a smuggling ring and was imprisoned on the Karrakin-controlled planet of Altasperanza and subjected to forced labor. At 17, Perpetva suffered chemical burns after an accident involving an acidic shaped charge originally meant to dissolve the rock around rare earth materials. Since Union's DoJ/HR lacks total jurisdiction around the Long Rim, Perpetva was not freed until 5030u, when the Third Committee's sweeping liberation program reached Altasperanza and her criminal record was dissolved. An outreach program from Harrison Armory saw her involvement in a classified study involving outdated GMS technology before the project was eventually dissolved. Soon after, she joined Trunk Security under IPS-N and now boldly pilots an Earhart on the field.
We never arrived on Altasperanza. I regret that now. - Sonata
As do I. But we were under closer watch by then. Nothing we could do. - Symphony

Specialties and Abilities[edit | edit source]
SUSPIRIA is a brilliant chemist and expert mathematician capable of calculating flightpaths and arc patterns at a moment's notice. She specializes in barrage-style bombardment and excels at providing explosive cover for her allies. Her extensive knowledge of explosives and accelerants allow her to modify her allies' munitions as well as her own.
A lot all at once. Perhaps her and I aren't very dissimilar. - Sonata
I'm telling you, sister, talk to her! - Symphony
Mechs and Weapons [edit | edit source]
SUSPIRIA pilots an IPS-N Earhart (see Hardvac Blues) as a conditional payment from Trunk Security for her service. Subject to its experimental and highly volatile munitions, SUSPIRIA gambles with her own annihilation with every split second decision she makes.
SUSPIRIA prefers to use a handgun and a ballistic shield in combat. She carries multiple explosive charges laden with acidic compounds on her person.
