Asar Ogalas (Elvish: Festival of Rebirth) is the annual celebration of the anniversary of The Razing of Isonhound.
History[edit | edit source]
In 825 PR, Asar Ogalas in Synara was victim to Three Dragons on Synàra.
In 826 PR, the same city would be spared on that day while other major Isonhound cities were attacked, including Gammelgard, Sneerwell, and Seglock in an event later known as The Umbral Flood.
A week ago an ornately decorated letter bearing an embossed symbol of the City of Gammelgard on the outside arrived to the Iron Hawks building in Seglock. Upon opening the envelope, the letter inside is written in ornate calligraphy on expensive vellum paper normally utilized for the creation of spell scrolls.
At the request of the Grand Master of the Order of the Watchful Eye, it is the pleasure of the Gammelgard Asar Ogalas Celebration Committee to extend an invitation to the Iron Hawks to be represented in the Asar Ogalas Day Morning Parade. A float will be organized for the attending members of the Iron Hawks and their guests to parade along with. At the completion of the parade a reception with refreshments will be provided for all those attending. We all look forward to your attendance.
A small piece of paper is tucked into the envelope along with the Vellum. On that paper is a hand written note that reads
Bring a big crew. I've spent enough cash cleaning up the Pie Store incident. You all need to help with some image repair.
