Cars are the motorized evolution of traditional animal-drawn carriages, becoming wildly popular in the late PR era, and nearly ubiquitous in the CR era.

- Autocarts were prominent around the turn of the millenium in 1000 PR, powered by magitech, they allowed their owners to navigate most paved roadways (and even some offroad paths) without needing animals to haul the cart. Some Autocarts were for personal use, while others were for moving produce and products.
