Olara Estrel is firbolg grave cleric from the Oasis under the rule of Archfey Cherise, Queen of the Court of Blossoms. She comes from a small clan that has served her for quite a long time, and has just reached the age of maturity before tragedy struck the court.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Olara is a charming individual standing at 6' 7" tall, with indigo eyes and bright purple hair. To combat the weather and to keep mobile, she dresses in loose, breathable clothing in muted colors - prioritizing function over fashion. Over the course of her adventures, she has acquired 2 dragonmarks - one from the Jade Dragon: which takes its form as a gentle scent that follows her around, the other from the Lilly Pad Dragon - which takes form as a Lilly Pad Lotus insignia on her left shoulder.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Olara comes from a peoples who pride themselves on patience. She is used to waiting and listening for the right thing to say or do before deciding on an action. In a way, she takes the saying "The best things come to those who wait" to heart. She strives to bring peace where she treads, careful to respect all things that approach her - friend and foe. To her party, she aims to be a voice of stability and reason, wanting to do her best in aiding her friends. But when peace is not an option, she will put her feelings aside for the greater good.
When the battle is over, and it is time to return from the fight, she will not let anyone be left behind - and if she must, she will wait for them to come home, because to wait is to have hope that all those who are lost will return someday.

Olara was part of a small clan of Clerics and Druids who protected and helped the oasis flourish, her sect responsible for returning those who's life passes on back to the Oasis to become something new and wonderful - to spread the loveliness and life that mirrored their Queen. As a child, she spent her days learning the ways of her people and listening to stories of their ancestors going from nomads of the desert to helping solidify the Court of Blooms within a place of dryness and decay. As she grew up, she was selected to become an acolyte of Renewal - something others would see as a sad profession - but Olara saw it as a way to make something new of the old - to refresh and breathe life into something withering away in a way that honored the legacy behind it. Years go by, ascending from Acolyte to Cleric and news spread that the Court was under duress just as Olara had come of age. Many of her clansmen departed to offer support at first, leaving behind a handful of druids and clerics to maintain their post and defend their home.
Those within her sect of the clan followed tradition and waited for their return - to celebrate life returned to their home. But as the clansmen never returned, and renewal rites were performed on empty graves, some ventured out to see what became of those lost - and the clan dwindled further when they didn't come back either. Still - Olara kept to her teachings and waited with her remaining mentors and acolytes. When they too ceased to return, the clan became desperate, praying to their gods and beseeching the earth to bring back any news at all - and out of hope, Olara volunteered to venture out, suggesting that perhaps someone younger might stand to find out the fates of their missing family and friends. She remains as the last member the clan is willing to send out to find missing clansmen and aid the Queen.
