Red Sashes
Years Active Circa 1000 PR
Location Crow's Foot and the Docks
Tier II

The Red Sashes were an established gang operating in Ahol. They ran a number of opulent drug dens and brothels around the city's docks and the district of Crow's Foot. The members of this faction could be easily identified by the iconic red sashes they wore around their waist, and their ornate blades.

History[edit | edit source]

The gang formed from a school of exotic sword duelists, a tradition they continued to practice into their criminal endeavors. Inspired by the old "Red Sash Gang" of Lunas in the early PR era, the Red Sashes donned both their name and manner of apparel, though the modern day Red Sashes are considered an homage to the old gang, rather than a true continuation.

In 1010 PR - following the death of Crows leader Roric - the tense truce between the Red Sashes and the Lampblacks shattered, resulting in all out war breaking out between the two factions. The Neighbours were dragged to the sidelines of the conflict by the Lampblacks, however their shadowy nature kept them from open warfare.

Notable Sashes[edit | edit source]

  • Mylera Klev - The leader of the Red Sashes. Killed by the Lampblacks in a war.
  • Kristov Dalmore - A student attending the Sashes' training academy in Crow's Foot. He was well respected amongst his fellow students as a fearsome duelist. Killed by the Lampblacks after their war ended.
  • Clave - Kristov's lackey. Perhaps more rugged in comparison to Kristov's theatrical showmanship, but almost just as deadly in a fight. Bore a striking resemblance to The Orphan. Now a lookout for The Neighbours.
