THESE BOOKS ARE DONE ON A RENTAL-BASED SYSTEM. PURCHASING ONE OF THESE RENTALS GIVES YOU ITS EFFECTS FOR ONE SESSION, AFTER WHICH THE BOOK IS RETURNED. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HOW MANY TIMES A BOOK CAN BE CHECKED OUT BY A GIVEN PERSON, BUT EACH PERSON CAN ONLY HAVE ONE BOOK AT A TIME, AND ONLY ONE COPY OF EACH BOOK EXISTS.
ADDITIONALLY, DRAZHOMIR IS BREAKING SCHOOL POLICY TO RUN THIS SHOP. IF YOU ARE DISCOVERED WITH ONE OF THESE BOOKS, THE SHOP CLOSES DOWN.

While you have this book rented out, you are considered to have the spells within it prepared. Each spell can be cast once, and can be cast additional times if you have the requisite spell slots for it. A list of the spells currently in the book can be found here. Once returned, you lose access to the spells in the book unless you check it out again. If you have the ability to copy spells into a spellbook of your own, you cannot copy spells from the Boccob's Blessed Spellbook into your own spellbook, nor can you copy extra spells from your own spellbook into the Boccob's Blessed Spellbook. |
