It was rediscovered by the realm when a troop of followers of [[Eros]], known as the [[Lunarans]], operating out of an abandoned holy site known as [[Lunarans#Rana Ndore|Rana Ndore]]. Under the Lunarans, the moonwell was protected for ages under the watchful eye of [[Echemus]], a crystal dragon and descendant of Eros himself, and by '''the Crying Scryer''', a lunaran who could see prophecies of what was to come.
