Well, actually he had only heard it at first, but it wasn't long after the explosion that he saw some of his ship's crew ablaze and jumping off of the shattered deck of his ship The Baba Voss. Sure Dothand had made some sleazy deals here-and-there, but nothing that warranted someone destroying his ship and killing his crew..... nothing that he can remember. | ||
Most of Dothand's life and wealth were wrapped-up in The Baba Voss. So Dothand did what any sane person would do; stay up for four days waiting for someone to come for him and finish whatever sick scheme they had started. Still no one came; and with there being no survivor from the Baba Voss to explain what happened, Dothand decided to leave Galik. Sure he had left Galik many times before. But as Dothand boarded a merchant vessel (one half the size of The Baba Voss.
