== About ==
Dutharr was a human paladin who served as head of [[Lyreguard|the Lyre Guard]], the state-run peacekeeping force of [[Galik]].  He was among the first to discover the [[Tools of the Primordial Ancients|Crown of Empyrosis]]’ existence in the city and was instrumental in coordinating a team of adventurers, known by the moniker [https://quelmarrealm.fandom.com/wiki/Ancients_Alive/Players_and_Characters#AFEW AFEW], to protect the crown from falling into the clutches of the Cult of Bane.

Dutharr possessed significant control and influence over Galik’s resources, frequently utilizing them for schemes to aid in the Crown’s protection and ultimate destruction.  These efforts included the retrieval of the body of Brunhald Redmayne (the Crown’s alleged creator) and a deception campaign that resulted in the Burning of [[Ambleside]].  Dutharr was also known to have connections among Galik’s nobles including Brad Sexton, the father of future Crown protector [[Chet Sexton]].

Dutharr went to great lengths to hide the existence of the Crown, but to little avail.  After its discovery he kept a cumulative (and fast-expanding, to his chagrin) list of all known parties that knew of its presence in Galik.  After his death it was discovered that he created extensive contingency notes.  These included his personal assessment of each member of AFEW and whether he perceived them to be “trustworthy” or “expendable”.

When the majority of the team had regathered in Galik, Dutharr sent word to everyone about regrouping now that the public no longer was searching Galik for the crown. <blockquote>''Crown Chasers,''
