(Wondrous Item, Very Rare, Consumable) (recommended base cost: 7-12,000gp)

A jar of doors is a magical item that can become one or two doors. When the jar is smashed against a mostly flat surface at least large enough for a small creature to squeeze through it, and no thicker than 20 feet, it creates a doorway, and (if necessary a passage and second doorway on the far side) that passes through the material. When you throw the jar, you must determine the doors' dimensions and shape: up to 5 feet wide, 8 feet tall. The passage creates no instability in a structure surrounding it. The doors and passage will persist as long as both doors are ajar. Once either door closes, the opening seals as if it had never existed. The passage will still exist until the second door closes. If creatures are within the passage, they will be harmlessly shunted to a space adjacent to the surface where the jar was smashed. Any objects or other items in the passage are likewise pushed into that space. When the doors are closed, nothing of the jar can be recovered, because the door is no longer a jar and can never again become so.
