Grizai is a goblin wizard. He’s just a little guy who likes to explore ruins and dig up interesting magic and items.
Physical Appearance and Personality
A rather short goblin, Grizai loves diving into things no matter the cost. Given his profession, it’s a miracle he’s still alive. He is overly friendly and far too trusting, particularly of other creatures of his stature. He loves making friends, even if these friends may view their relationship in other terms. However, an astute observer might notice that his naiveté might not alway be genuine.
History
For years, Grizai accompanied expeditions to find long lost cities and, of course, their treasures. His group took on contracts from a variety of employers and also followed juicy rumors. He particularly loved finding magic items, artifacts, and spells to add to his spell book. It is believed that Grizai’s group delved a little too greedily and too deep in one particular temple, and what they dug up displeased powerful entities. The end result was a one-way trip to the Back Halls for Grizai and perhaps his companions.

Powers and Abilities
Like other goblins, Grizai is quite nimble and quick to get out of harm’s way. He is particularly fond of the cantrip firebolt and the captivating flames that result. He occasionally calls an owl familiar to his side.

9/7 - This new place has strange colors. I don’t think I can dig through this fuzzy ground. Friend Randy knows so much. I like Randy. I'm glad we saved him. Fire snakes bad. I though I found goblin friend, but it was not. Goodbye friend Randy.
11/8 - Why are there so many mirrors? That troll had too many arms. We met more goblins but they did not want to be friends. I tried. A couple of them ran away. But now we have two elf friends (Tanndyll and Althidon) who say they are taking us to safety. But first we poke this machine.
11/25 - Machine makes good soup and trinkets. Even bigger troll was NOT FRIEND. Poor Neighthan tried to open the door as instructed and died for it. We didn’t even go in that door. Friends don’t last long here. Rat man sold us some things. Then we went to the Royal Court. Bob showed us around.
