Session 4 Intermission

[Food Order - Wings Over ... it was an ordeal ... the quality seems to be going down :/ ]

The group took an intermission session with one off level 10 characters. The long drawn out battle ended up in a semi-stalemate. It would seem the City and the Royal Court are nothing more than a power hungry sibling feud. Both bent on ruling their exact way, either waiting for the halls to end (Royal court), or seeking to find their way out (City). Both seek to achieve this at any cost to those around them. No matter who gets roped into this feud it all ends the same, endlessly fighting, respawning, leveling up, and fighting again. Unless of course you choose not to play. Mr. Sparrow (and a few others) realize this. To end the battle he throws the leaders into the void and marches off to make his own sanctuary as far away from both as he can.

The City; Lawrence Krylov (guidance counselor) and his followers (pistoleros)

The Royal Court; Jasmine Krylov (warlord); Bob, boB (her shield guardians, bound to her)

Jasmine, recounting the tale to our heroes, is increasingly flustered and has to back track and rework the story when she is called out on her inconsistencies (the players doubting her words as CLEARLY things are not perfect in the Court as she claims). She will grant the players time to rest and regroup, but once they leave, they will not be allowed back in (unless they prove loyalty beyond a simple smashed City camera). And remember, NO SNOOPING, and please "No more tough questions, my whole charade is about to crumble and these poor souls around me might not be able to deal with what's roaming around the halls"

Randy McGriddle - The players saved this nearly dying NPC. Rather talkative regailing the party with nonsensicle tales of adventures past, and of strong opinions on trivial objects, the party was able to glean bits of information from his ramblings. Most notably among these nuggets of information was the (current) general layout of the halls and some points of interest in the Northeast and Southwest corners. The party kept Randy's health at the initial 5HP from initially saving his life which may have played a strong part of his demise at the end of Session one.

The Backhalls 2 (Glass Onion Soup) is a currently ongoing campaign intended to be a [Currently Redacted] to the original Backhalls campaign.

Player Characters[edit | edit source]

Andrea as Iaari Nyserias

Cat as Raven Shadowstrike

Chris as Neighthan Fillion

Gail as Grizai

Rich as Darkness

Sessions[edit | edit source]

Session 0.0 - 4th of July BBQ - Ben forgot to season the Burgers, and the sun was super hot, but the rest of it was a great time [Food Order; Potluck Picnic!]

Session 0 -27th Aug - Online character building [Food Order - Online so whatever, Ben and Andrea had Tasty K]

Session 1 - 7th Sept - (Re) introduction to the halls. The carpets seem only musty, and the wallpaper is dingy in spots, but not peeling off. The harsh overhead lighting illuminates the halls like a fully staffed office building.

- Fights, Fire elementals, Barghast, Dread Knight (and servents)

NPCs Randy found, rambled on to annoy the party, died to the Dread Knight.

Notable interactions (and who wrote them)

- Encountered the Edge/Void. A(n as far as we know) harmless line of darkness with a permeable membrane. Items thrown in do not come back [yet] (Ben)

[Food Order - Wings Over]

Session 2 - 11/8

After a successful rest, the party kept wandering around the halls, a very combat heavy session.

- Fights, Displacer Beast (a CAT !) and a 5 armed troll, 5 goblins.

-The group encountered a strange machine. They put one object on one end, turned a lever, and the first object disappeared but another appeared on other end.

- Also two elves watched the goblin fiasco. Once clear Tanndyll and Althidon made it know they are peaceful and are heading to one of two known encampments in the halls. [Food Order - Jersey Mike's]

Session 3 - 11/25

[Food Order - Angelo's ... Chris and Rich wanted The Gobbler]

(Recap coming soon)
