Delilah "Lily" Saguaro is a Dhampir Phantom Rogue/Vampire Nightwalker Rogue in D&D campaign Painted Sands of Pteris and the Daggerheart sequel sessions

Physical Appearance

As a saloon girl, Delilah prides herself on her outward appearance. She has long blonde hair that she keeps in both coiled curls as well as waves when she is not performing and entertaining at Jasper's Jewels. Her very pale skin is clear and she regularly blushes her skin to give it a more natural look, considering she is technically undead. She sports a bite mark on her left shoulder from where it was attempted to turn her.

When working, she wears elegant dresses, frocks, with open skirts and revealing necklines to make her one of the most enticing women in the saloon, entertaining travelers as well as the local hard working men and women alike. If she ventures outside to enjoy the warm porch, she carries a dark parasol.

Delilah does enjoy going out on adventures though and for that she wears pants, high collared shirts and a harness to hold her collection of daggers, her revolver "Thistle", as well as a rapier called "Thorn".

Personality

Delilah is looking out for one person, and that's herself. She enjoys dancing, singing, being the center of attention on a stage and in the bedroom. She will look out for the other women that work with her at the Saloon, but mostly for the sake of the establishment of the whole. She gained unnatural talents when she was half-turned and is now sometimes takes it upon herself to throw out those who's attitude are unkindly in the bar, as well as those who don't pay what is owed.

She is a sucker for adorable things and that is why she so often finds herself summoned by her little friend Vee to go on small endeavors that usually end up with her in more trouble than the kobold's friendship is probably worth, but she usually gets as much gold out of it as she would have an afternoon in the saloon and there's usually more deserving victims for her to feed on than trying to coerce one of her clients.

History

The time before Delilah started to work at the Jasper's Jewels is unimportant and she would prefer you not to ask her about such silly things. She was a star and great at what she did at the saloon and she had everyone curled around her fingers.

Then one day, she made the mistake that all young women trying to make their way in the world do when they think they've worked long enough and deserve to rest, she let a man seduce her into being his little housewife. The only difference in Delilah's case is that she didn't very often consider what was a scandal and what was just her pride telling her she could do what wanted, so when Mr. Daniels swept her away from the saloon and had her live in his estate without first marrying her, it just didn't even cross her mind that that could be a red flag. She also didn't notice at first that his house was very well decorated, that the staff would frequently get her name wrong, that he would frequently have new clothing for her already and didn't have to go out and purchase it, and that it also was at least five years old in fashion. No, none of that seemed to stand out in anyway to her at all.

Then, one evening, Delilah dared to ask Mr. Daniels why he wouldn't marry her, and in answering, he told her his greatest secret. He--was a vampire. He told her that if they were to commit to each other in marital bliss, she had to first commit herself to being eternally bound to him and allowing him to change her into a new, immortal creature of the night with him. Delilah, with no hesitation at all, agreed, excited to have this guarantee in life, that he would always be with her and they would live forever, together. Mr. Daniels bit into her shoulder deeply and drank freely of her, Delilah refusing to fight back and allowing the change to come.

That's when the door flew open. With a blustering wind, Mrs. Daniels returned! She'd been on a several month trip to visit her family in Jewelspar and returned home a few days before as a surprise for her husband, but was shocked herself to find another woman living in her home and play housewife to her husband. Delilah, realizing that she was the other woman and their love wasn't real and wouldn't be forever, used her new strength and extreme hunger to drive her to join the wife in brutally murdering Mr. Daniels. They beat him until he was unconscious and then Mrs. Daniels drove a stake into his chest, forcing him to collapse into a pile of ash.

Mrs. Daniels and Delilah parted way for a few years, Delilah discovering more about herself and beginning her work with the Tinkerton Locomotive company. They came back together when Delilah was looking for a home in Granite outside of the saloon and Mrs. Daniels offered for her to live together. She also offered to finish Delilah's transformation into a full vampire, which she accepted.

Now Delilah mostly works at the saloon, does odd jobs with Vee, and recently has found herself in a bit of a dalliance with a vampire huntress called Camilla.
