Manquel /Orbis / Ravel /Un-Ravel

The combined headquarters located across several Teleportation Circles built by Quimbleton. This Mega Bastion is the union of 4 previous bastions.

  • "Bitchhouse" in Manquel, based on a small garrison destroyed by a Blowt that was called there the night before, and handed over to the heroes looking for some semblance of lasting shelter.
  • "The C3" in Ravel, based on a small cafe which was formerly Cavii Kero's home and base of operation: Cavii's Colloquy and Cafe.
  • "Kara's House" deep under Ravel, previously quarantined and thought infected by Wendigo, shunted away from the Unravel organization.
  • "Orbis Safehouse", a small but functional shelter located in Orbis Alius.

Facility: Armory

  • Hirelings: 1 Storeman

The Manquel Armory is stocked with armor, shields, weapons, and ammunition. While this facility is intact, players can choose from any of the game's armors to start their session with, including more exotic armors such as Grand Plate. Armors granted in this way are assumed to have been returned to the communal stock at the end of the session, and cannot be sold.

Bastion Defenders all gain an AC of 18.

Facility: Training Area

  • Hirelings: 4 Trainers

Every Bastion turn, the player can take the training that is established in this area, and THEN after all parties have taken their bastion actions, swap out the Trainer to be another trainer, setting its state for the next player who takes this Bastion turn.

AREA CURRENTLY SET TO: TOOLS

Trainer Type Empower Effect
Battle Expert Whenever you take damage from a normal attack (not a spell, art, or power), you can take an Instant Action to reduce this damage by 1d4.
Skills Expert Gain +2 on checks for the session for one of the following skills: Exert, Performance, Sneak.
Tools Expert Gain +2 on skill checks if you are utilizing a set of tools of your choice (examples include: Healer's Pouch, Utensils, Carpenter's Tools, Artists Supplies, Blacksmith's tools etc.)
Unarmed Combat Expert When you hit with your Unarmed attacks and deal damage, the attack deals an extra 1d4 damage.
Weapon Expert Choose a kind of Simple or Martial weapon, such as Spear or Longbow. If it is a weapon you do not traditionally use, gain +2 on attacks with it.

If it is instead a regularly used weapon of yours, it instead gains the ability to deal shock damage to any target regardless of their AC. If the weapon does not have shock (like a bow) it gains 2/- Shock.

Facility: Sanctuary

  • Hirelings: 1 Cleric

The Manquel Sanctuary grants its inhabitants the option to cast a Healing Word that heals 2d6+Heal HP from a distance equal to their level * 10 feet.

1–15 New Friend You learn an NPC’s name, where they’re from, and where they’re going. Neat.
16–30 Generous Patron Gain 2d6×10 gold pieces as a tip for gracious hospitality.
31–40 Knowledgeable Patron Gain an Intel token that can be used to apply a +2 bonus to any Intelligence skill check the player makes for the session.
41–50 Wise Patron Gain an Intel token that can be used to apply a +2 bonus to any Wisdom skill check the player makes for the session.
51–60 Intriguing Patron Gain an Intel token that can be used to apply a +2 bonus to any Charisma skill check the player makes for the session.
61–66 Notorious Cat Burglar Gain a Loot token that, when used, allows the player to find a useful, lore-rich, or otherwise meaningful item in their current location or dungeon room.
67–72 Passing Cartographer Gain an Intel token that allows the player to learn the general location of something important to the session.
73–78 Nosy Diviner Gain an Intel token that, when used, impels a truth or secret out of one of the other players at the table.
79–85 Beastmaster’s Blessing Gain an Intel token that can be used to identify a monster’s weaknesses or type of attacks. Expend as a free action during combat.
86–90 Busy Week Pick an interaction of your choice from lower-numbered options and roll again; multiple rolls with this result do not stack.
91–95 Classified Intelligence Have one lore-related question of your choice answered truthfully; the DM determines the scope of the answer.
96–100 Rare Seller Roll a magic item (from the 1000 Magic Items book) with the option to trade for or buy it at a generous discount.

  • Players can start their session with any mundane object of their choice, provided it can be reasonably crafted using any of the tools available to players in game (A list which includes: Carpenter’s Tools, Cobbler’s Tools, Glassblower’s Tools, Jeweler’s Tools, Leatherworker’s Tools, Mason’s Tools, Painter’s Tools, Potter’s Tools, Tinker’s Tools, Weaver’s Tools, Woodcarver’s Tools)
  • Anyone players in this bastion with the Artisan feat or other crafting ability can now halve the required cost and salvage of a creation, utilizing the tools and help provided by the craftsmen here.

The Balabag Villa Bastion

Home to: Yuki, Enrik, Cecil, Gale, Osric, Alcordyn, Sameera, Jollyfist (8/35)

Located in Balabag

  • The Gohei PLUS one of the following:
    • +2 on All Saving Throws,
    • +2 on Skill Checks related to one choice (Magic, Pray, Notice, Know)
    • +10% Wealth Increase

SPECIAL: The Gohei

This bastion has a Gohei that anyone from the bastion can take with them on an adventure, and which returns to this Bastion provided it is not lost during the adventure.

Provides +2 on Skill checks on a choice of Magic, Pray, Notice, or Know. If upgraded to Vast (or a second Archive is installed) will instead allow user to pick TWO skills.

The Davenwood Greenhouse produces a Bouquet of Healing, which includes a "Fruit of Lesser Restoration" and 2 "Healing Potions",

(Alternatively, a downtime can be spent to switch this Greenhouse to growing potent poisons)
