The Burrow is composed almost entirely of Harengon, who built their homes into the sides of the rolling hills that surround the area. If one knows anything about hares and their ilk, it’s that they are quite adept at multiplying. The families in The Burrow tend to be... quite large.

The Burrow is quite self sustainable and its residents experience quiet and peaceful lives (as peaceful and quiet as it can get with-who-knows however many kits running around the hills, that is). Most folks grow their own selection of crops that they share with their neighbors. The entire town works together to ensure that they can take care of each other's needs, some families choose to become crafters or trades-folk. If there wasn’t someone in the family who could do a task, there was surely a neighbor who could.

While the residents were safer from the frigid cold inside their burrows, in order to survive the harsh winter apocalypse they collectively hibernated for months and rode out the worst of the freeze as if it were simply a bad dream. Though the reality of the situation far exceeded any nightmare.
