=== Hathor’s Island ===

* Hathor’s Island was named after Hathor Grimm, head of the authoritarian Varuvian Assembly that was mercilessly overthrown by Hellfriede Ripley. Despite Varuvi gaining new leadership and Union funded renovations in the aftermath of the revolution, no one was willing to do anything with Hathor’s Island. This was, until, the Varuvian Personhood Accord was signed and the creator of the NHP dating app NHParamours bought the island’s estate. The app maker, a Dante-Class named Charlotte, now uses it to host parties.

In the year 5026U, Rivnuan is a Diasporan planet with no centralized planetary government. The only continent, called Riva, was carved into four separate nations after a massive civil war 300 years ago. The only place liberated from the four feuding Sovereigns is Midnight City, an independent city on the edge of Riva. With all of the human rights violations that happen here, it’s easy to wonder why Union hasn’t done anything. The answer is easy: the same reason why Union can’t effectively police anyone with substantial political influence—the desire to avoid mass conflict. All of the Sovereigns have connections to various political powers like Harrison Armory, Smith-Shimano Corpro, and even the Karrakin Trade Baronies. Even Midnight City isn’t entirely free of the influence of these organizations, though corporate leaders do their best to keep non-Rivnuan “giants” away from their city. All in all, a person visits Rivnuan for two reasons. Either they want to do some black market dealings under Union’s nose or they want to see some of the best sparkball teams this side of the universe has to offer.

* '''Deimos Crater''': A crater in the center of Midnight City where a Deimos Event took place and wiped a major corporate headquarters off the face of the planet. The residual paracausal energy from that event sent ripples throughout the city, caused random health hazards, and resulted in multiple casualties. No one remembers exactly what corporation was there before, but the desperate or foolish go there now to scavenge for Deimos Gear—lost equipment from the former corporation imbued with increased paracausal effects.

Varuvi[edit | edit source]

Planetary Public Transport[edit | edit source]

  • Air Rails: An interconnected system of trains propelled by anti-gravity air propulsion technology. The conductors of the air rails are multiple Asura and Tlaloc NHPs, all of whom report to Zip, the head Asura conductor. The plans for creating and maintaining the air rails were created by the legionnaire Torin in 5016U, three months after he and Hellfriede Ripley overthrew the Varuvian Assembly.

New Varuvi City (Capital)[edit | edit source]

  • Central Plaza
    • Plaza Building
    • Hellfriede Park: The biggest park in New Varuvi and site of the Hellfriede Ripley statue. It’s located at the heart of the new capital. The annual Liberation Day parade always starts and ends here.
  • Little Valdivia: A comparatively small neighborhood with a clear love of nature. The homes here look like rolling hills with domed sunroofs. At the center is the Valdivia Garden which is lovingly tended to by various members of the community. In the shade of a massive lavender willow tree near the garden’s center is a decommissioned Worldkiller Genghis. This shows that all things can be reclaimed by nature in time.
  • West Outskirts: The western edge of New Varuvi that has yet to be fully redeveloped. There have been arguments that some parts of the city should be left alone to preserve physical evidence of Varuvi’s history. Regardless of their eventual fate, the Outskirts currently serve as a place for less reputable business ventures to hide from the gazes of the Liberation Council and Union representatives. A sect of the Horizon Collective is based here, too.

Varuvian Twin Moons[edit | edit source]

  • Left Moon
    • Twin Moon Hotel
  • Right Moon
    • Sovereign Circle: A massive building like a triple layer cake constructed for the purpose of hosting official, “respectable” celebrations and bureaucratic meetings.
