A Questor (sometimes spelled Quaestor) is a subordinate hired by a legislative body to investigate (and often prosecute) cases of intrigue, interest, or mystery. The term is often conflated with Adventurer, but Questors specific seek out answers, while Adventurers can operate for any number of motives.

History[edit | edit source]

The Questing System originated in the era of kingdoms, primarily between 0 PR and 400 PR.

In a similar system to the Patron System, Questor's are bound to the rules set by their superior magistrate. Unlike the Patron system, Questor's are technically employed by a governing faction or party, and not by an individual.

Notable Questors[edit | edit source]

The group later known as The Oathwielders would originally start their mission as Questors for No Man's Kingdom.
