Fairies of the Great Forest are distinctly separate from the Fairy race known to run throughout the Feywild. They are are small, light-filled creatures that fly about the realm, most commonly found in highly concentrated magical forests. They are magical beings with boundless healing energy and of unknown origins.
History / Purpose
Faries of the Great Forest serve dual purposes, but one is known to many: they are impressive healers that can cure any ailment, any sickness, or even reverse death. They are sought out far and wide by many for this power. Their other purpose is to serve their master (assigned at creation) until completion. Fairies of the Great Forest assist in communicating goals, to fufilling some grand destiny, or following them around to the end of their days. The same cannot be said for Fairies without a master. These Fairies of the Great Forest wander the realm until they're captured and ultimately used for their healing powers. Unlike those with a master, their healing power is expendable. When used once, they are sent back into the ether to be reincarnated (hopefully) again...perhaps next time with a clear purpose.
Personality
Fairies of the Great Forest are incredibly child-like and naive. They are idealistic, optimistic, and view the world through a child-like lens.
