The Five Families of Crooks' Creek are a collection of criminal syndicates permeating the social fabric of Crooks' Creek, insidiously controlling the over and underworlds of the area, like puppetmasters to unknowing marionettes.
The Families
The families are, as follows:
- "Long Gun" Lucky's Looters, known for their lavish, high-roller casinos,
- "Big & Tall" Barone's Busters, known for their designer boutiques and stylish wardrobes,
- "Greener & Greedier" Craggy's Crew, known for being the quickest, quality odd-jobs in town, This used to be "Green & Greedy" Graggy's Grunts, but due to an attack against the Families, the former head Graggy passed and replaced with his son, Craggy, to everyone's displeasure.
- "Lightning Limb" Pronto's Punks, known for having the deepest fingers in the coffers of local business, and
- "Ol' Dirty" Cali's Cheats, known for their heavy influence within the black markets and especially their illicit substances from across the realm.
Behind the Screen
If it isn't obvious, the Five Families of Crooks' Creek are drawn from La Cosa Nostra, specifically the Five Families in the New York City area.
