The Deicidium Chambers was a divine security facility located in one of the deepest and most unreachable ravines of Nessus. It was used by Asmodeus during his time as Nessus' archdevil to secure and protect some of his most valuable relics from the creators of Quelmar and the Underdark.
The Chambers
Each individual chamber was protected by a powerful devil, an unstoppable curse, or both. Typically the devils would be nearly unstoppable, but being lawful creatures, had a clause that allowed safe entrance into the chamber if one were to know the tricks Asmodeus had set up.
Glittergold's Chamber
This chamber contained a gold nugget and was protected by pleasure devils, it was possible to reach the relic by making the (typically solem) fiends laugh, usually with a very dark or gruesome joke.
Gruumsh's Chamber
This chamber contained a bone pendant and was protected by bone devils, it was possible to reach the relic by challenging the devils to a gruesome and bone cracking arena combat.
Mielikki's Chamber
This chamber contained a unicorn horn and was protected by a curse of heated metal, it was only possible to reach the relic through magical spells that allow the user's body to withstand immense amounts of heat.
Pelor's Chamber
This chamber contained golden ring and was protected by horned devils, it was possible to reach the relic by performing the ritual of murder with the guards as witness.
Obad-Hai's Chamber
This chamber contained everliving branch and was protected by a small army of chain devils, it was possible to reach the relic by donating a soul to the armies of hell.
Moradin's Chamber
This chamber contained a bronze hammer and was protected by pit fiends, it was possible to reach the relic by presenting a beautiful ruby.
Torog
This chamber contained Torog himself at one point, as he had been tricked by Asmodeus and banished to this unholy chamber. It was the most well protected, containing nearly every type of devil outside its doors. It was possible to reach the Torog, however, if one were to torture their allies, proving a devotion to torture. Those truly dedicated were allowed in by Asmodeus to see their god of pain.
