Aegir (sometimes stylized Ægir) is the demi-god of the sea, originating from the far plane of Ysgard.
History
The Empyrosis of the Aegirian Temple
Aegir's temple in Galik was destroyed in the mid 460s PR by the The Crown of Empyrosis, representing the elemental demi god of Kossuth on a mission to destroy all water. Luckily for the Aegerians, there was a second temple located outside the city on the water, roughly a half hour walk from Galik's gates.
Worshippers
Worshippers of Aegir follow a number of sea and travel related tenants, including:
- Get water around you
- Baths as much as possible
- Take voyages to the coast
- Clean Dirty Water
- Wear the rosary beads of sandstone (Which hold water inside)
