As the most widespread Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting, the Forgotten Realms (founded by Ed Greenwood) is the default setting for many adventures. When adapting material written for the Forgotten Realms into Quelmar, here are a few helpful guidelines.
Locations
- Waterdeep can be replaced in any module or story with Galik.
- Chult can be replaced with Kiston or any of it's orbital islands (making sure to pick an era where it is unlocked)
- The Sword Coast doesn't have a direct correlation (so far) but Oppidan is a region with many cities and points on interest on the water.
- Baldur's Gate does not have a direct correlation yet, Zobeck or Dolmvay are large cities that could be used until a real equivalent is world-built.
Languages
Illuski
