Rio Martelo used to be a normal human with a constant body. Their home life was often filled with them getting into significant trouble and being punished for it, given their standing as part of a noble house. When they were 18, they were slated to marry into a different house, an Aasimar by the name of Lucy de Compasso. Rio fell madly in love with Lucy, as did everyone Lucy encountered. However, Rio being their spouse and most loyal, Lucy turned Rio into a magic mirror to sit on the wall and compliment them. One day, Lucy was unhappy with their appearance and shattered the magic mirror. Rio's body 'reformed' and fired off a spell unintentionally that killed Lucy instantly. Following this, both their family and the family they married into disowned them and their body began changing on the daily. They made wooden children's toys to earn a living for about 2 years, before trying to give mastering magic a go. |

Rio has the ability to copy other people's specialties. If a humanoid is within 60 feet of them, Rio can copy a proficiency, natural weapon, sense, speed, or mannerism that this humanoid may have. Their body replicates this by shattering pieces of themselves into rainbow glass and reconstructing the glass into the part that is needed for said attribute. Rio can also take spells that have been casted on them and learn them temporarily, being able to cast them in the same way as the caster. |

Rio's magic and abilities is based on their intent. They have minor spellcasting abilities that used to happen seemingly at random. However, now they have more control over their abilities and intent. After a period of intense focus or wanting, Rio's arm will begin pulsing with energy, which results in a wild magic surge upon a leveled spell being casted. |
