Not yet having learned how to control the raging inferno it commands, its roosting spawned flows of lava and ash that choked the hills and those who called it home. Those who were present during the event perished, save for one young Harengon who had made their way out of the tunnels before it was too late, who witnessed the massive serpent of fire willfully attempt to reign in the spreading flames and apologize for the damage it had not intended to cause. |

Nestled among the rolling hills of central Osugbo rests a small farming town. Below the surface are an intricate network of tunnels that make up the homes of the many rabbit-folk that live there.
About
The Burrow is composed almost entirely of Harengon, who built their homes into the sides of the rolling hills that surround the area. If one knows anything about hares and their ilk, it’s that they are quite adept at multiplying. The families in The Burrow tend to be... quite large.
The Burrow is quite self sustainable and its residents experience quiet and peaceful lives (as peaceful and quiet as it can get with-who-knows however many kits running around the hills, that is). Most folks grow their own selection of crops that they share with their neighbors. The entire town works together to ensure that they can take care of each other's needs, some families choose to become crafters or trades-folk. If there wasn’t someone in the family who could do a task, there was surely a neighbor who could.
The hills that make up the Burrow aren't quite on the beaten path, merchants who visit tend to go out of their way to make a stop there, and often are doing the town a favor by bringing them materials that are harder to come by, such as ores and clay. These merchants are usually other animal-folk from Ravel or relatives who migrated to the cities.
Notable Characters
Hallowfoot - An elder priest among the harengon of the burrow. During the Fantasial Freeze he shared his knowledge about how to stack cairns to harness cleansing energy to deter Harr energy.
August 'Red' Fragaria - A roguish harengon who left The Burrow seeking adventure and to see the world that lay beyond their hills. During the events of the Fantasial Freeze, he tried his best to do the most good and despite his best efforts his actions resulted in the most harm to his birthplace.
