Grimmwood is a Hexblood Lunar Sorcerer / Bard

Physical Appearance

Grimmwood is of average height, standing at five foot, eight inches. He has red-brown skin and green hair. His crown is shaped like two "horns" of uneven length, and instead of being solid, they are a deep brown and are thorny brambles that form the "horns", some of the brambles run along the side of his head.

Personality

Grimm is an anxious young man, who sometimes stutters and repeats himself. He has a strong sense of justice and strong protective streak for people who seem to be in emotional trouble.

History

Grimmwood is a feylost, he was found by a Triton Paladin of the Wilted Lily. She gave him his name, she said it was something she had wanted to name her own child. Grimmwood, being about three at the time, did not understand the significance of such a statement. He would like to meet her again, if not to find out the meaning of his name, than to show he turned out okay. And she was right to trust him with this name.

He was originally left with Sweet Pea, but he either didn't take or refused to do any weapon training, Remembering Senku and his Husband, instead of forcing the boy to train. The floral dragonborn brought him by Senku's Church. Where upon seeing the boy comforted by his husband, any resistance to the adoption melted away.

Grimmwood had a relatively normal childhood from here. He grew up in the church, learning some of the Raven Queen's rituals and Holidays, helping with chores such as getting leaves off the roof. Lorien and Soltazar took turns teaching; language, reading, basic maths. He did display some magical talent, with neither of his Fathers being able to truly help with the magic he was naturally gifted, Soltazar was able to assist in teaching some control. As Grimmwood reaches the age of maturity, he and his fathers discussed higher education. Agreeing on the school Deroleux, as one of Soltazar's old friends attended.

It's deeply concerning to find the on the verge of falling pieces because they got wrapped up in a conversation and couldn't feel the cold. They also have a terrible habit of speaking when they should think instead. Something we have in common..."

• Axolot - "A kind hearted Kobold with a poet's soul, she keeps setting up blanket forts and holding writing parties. I would like the forts a bit taller, but I've not gotten tangled and it seems rude to complain when she puts in so much effort already. She did kill Rio once, but now that I'm better friends with Rio... I completely understand the urge."
• Cormack - "He seems like he could be my sort of person, the type of guy who ends up being a life long friend. First it seems, I must meet him on his level, and that feels a bit like drowning."

I know this year was especially hard on her, and people know her for her physical strength and that incendent with the bar. It is unfortunate that few know of her strength of character and the river of kindness she refuses to let her family dam. It will be my greatest honor to have her in my life."
• Lardriira'xyra - "I didn't start school expecting to find a sibling, but I'm delighted that Riira has join my family. He has a long road to travel to get to his best self. I hope now he at least feels he has the stable foundation to start building his future, and I look forward to helping him build that."
• Jalivia De Vaironne - " I'm lucky to still call Jalivia my best friend. He's like lace, he looks delicate and beautiful, but he's made of something far stronger than silk. I made a bad call on the basilisk and I'm glad I was able to make it up to both him and Daisy. Perhaps he's right to protect the most soft parts of himself, I hope Cadoras can prove himself worthy of that honor."
• Rio - "Rio is, somehow the only person I know who stopped exploding on a weekly basis and their life somehow got more complicated. Keeps life interesting at the least. I'm still mad that they got Astrid all wound up about killing her father, only to shift gears once their ex-wife showed up. Funny that, almost like death has less consequences when you're rich."
• Cormack - "Cormack is, clearly going through a moment of personal growth. I wish we were a little closer, he seems like the sort that could be a life long friend once he settles into the himself. I hope I get that chance, but with him making the move to Prismari, I fear that opportunity will be lost to me. best of luck to you Cormack. I know you'll be amazing at whatever you throw yourself into."
• Amadeus - "They have surprised me more than once this year. They have a persona they like to project, and I fear that does them more harm than good. They seem to be afraid that no-one will like the real them. That feels, deeply sad, there is a brilliant vibrant person under all that bluster, and considering how they jumped at the opportunity to join the MageTower team with little promting, someone who seeks to prove themselves. If i can't meet the real them, I hope they find people they can share that side of them self with.{They also have excellent taste in women, hope things with Greta work out for them.}"

When Rio's ex-wife showed up, she didn't hesitate to confront them on their past actions with, unfortunate but in hindsight, obvious consequences. Considering the inevitable clash with Astrid's father on the horizon since i proposed, I am glad to have her as an inspiration, and I hope my courage can match hers."

• Vaerith - "Think the poor guy got overwhelmed in the commons the other day. I think he and Jalivia will get along quite well if they get the chance to spend time together."
