So like was she born Luc-Infrared and then grew into the Luc-Y name? That's convenient.
History
LucYLIU1 was created for use in the Weird Science Division, which gave her certain unusual privileges, namely, access to Old World media. She was raised on action movies, as her purpose was to use inspiration from these artifacts to improve weaponry and technology in the Complex. Most of her personality was developed from these movies, and she adopted several different strange quirks of behavior and speech, based off of old action movie tropes. Her favorites include Mad Max Fury Road, Birds of Prey, and Charlie's Angels.
After some time being bounced from team to team of troubleshooters, LucY landed in the team that included Dino (Win-A-Mon), Z (Ezra), Accent (Amerigo), Firewall (Tia), and Uh-The-Mutant-I-Guess (Amanda). This was the first team that felt like a good fit. She enjoyed the antics of Tia and Amerigo, respected Z's fearless style, and grew particularly close with the old-timer Win-A-Mon, who shared a similar bravado and willingness to dive headfirst into any situation.
Personality
LucY is aggressive, cool, and aggressively cool. Pain and fear are rare motivators for her - unless it's the pain of embarrassment or the fear of looking anything less than, well, cool. She's confident and tends to enjoy chaos and battles and explosions.
