The ring of Nayveen is a legendary magical item that grants the wearer immense power. It is said to house enough magical energy to turn every grain of sand in Pteris into a blooming enchanted forest. The ring was made by a young druid who sought to protect their home. The threat of modernization began to encroach upon their land and soon would cause irreversible harm to the forest. The young druid, Nayvee n, crafted the ring out of the very branches and vines of their home and imbued it with energy from the Earth.

The ring granted Nayveen the power to undo the damage done by cultivation expeditions. Deforestation could be undone with the flick of their wrist. Rich soil could be replenished with a toss of their hand. Nayveen was able to repair the permanent damage done to their forest, protecting the living creatures within it. However, their efforts did not go unnoticed.

Once word reached the settlers of a magic druid replenishing the land they sought to find the druid; for they saw an opportunity for unlimited resources. An expedition began on the sole purpose of finding Nayveen and exploiting them for their powers. Parties were sent out in the hundreds in search of the druid, which were given specific instructions to burn everything in their path. Unable to repair the forest as fast as it was being damaged, Nayveen was backed into a corner and eventually caught. The remainder of their forest was turned to ash as its protector was dragged away in a cage.

While being torn from their forest, the falling tears of Nayveen planted seeds of hope in the ground. The settlers reported a trail of blooms behind them as they dragged the druid away. It is said that Nayveen hid the ring inside a bloom so that the settlers may never have the power they sought. To this day, the bloom has yet to be found along with the Ring of Nayveen.
