Damian Shryke is a Tiefling Sorcerer/Warlock and is a player character in Infernal Invasion.
Physical Appearance
Damian Shryke is a young Tiefling man appearing similar to a human in their mid-twenties, though being quite a bit older. He has a soft complexion with deep ruby red skin and glowing red eyes. His long black hair cascades down his back with two short curling horns situated at the sides of his head. he wears thin flowing robes atop infernal leathers, exposing dark tattoos inked across his red skin. Emerging from the small of his back are two large infernal wings which he typically keeps tucked away, hidden against the many folds and shifting reds of his sorcerers robes.
Personality
Damian is a charismatic and calculating individual, use to getting what he wants with his quick wit and silver tongue. Though since being separated from his sister, his confidence in these skills has diminished as he is used to working with a partner. While alive Damian was extremely confident in his identity and what he wanted of himself and the world, but since dying that confidence has been shattered by the celestial dreams he has been plagued with. In order to avoid these dreams Damian tries to throw himself into his vices in order to distract himself from his own mind.
History
Damian and his twin sister Rosemary were both the offspring of the dark witch Carmilla "The Shryke" and the Lord of Locusts, Abaddon, Lord of the Bottomless Pit on the 9th layer of The Ten Hells. Carmilla was a powerful infernal witch with a dark reputation in the deep forests of Osugbo. She garnered the title of "The Shryke" due to her proclivity to impale her human sacrifices on high up branches of trees. She was a kind mother, raising her twin children in the Pine Barrens of Osugbo, teaching them all she knew about infernal magic. She groomed the twins as best she could to one day descend into Hell to join their father in the Infernal Aristocracy.
When Damian and Rosemary were of age, they traveled together to the city of Dolmvay to make a name for themselves. In the city they served their father as infernal contract negotiators and executors, forging deals with anyone foolish or desperate enough to sign away their souls. Then once an infernal contract had run its course and the signatories time frame was up, the twins would collect for their father. They were very successful for a long while, building themselves comfortable lives in the city and living it up. Together they were unstoppable and it seemed that nothing would bring an end to their operation. That was until their actions were caught on to by the Church of the Illuminant. The church and its holy warriors organized a raid on the twins' base of operations and Damian stayed behind so his twin could escape. In the ensuing battle Damian was slain by a high ranking priest of the faith. As Damian died though, the priest gave Damian his forgiveness, forgiving him for the terrible acts he had performed in his life, and the priest read Damian his last rites as Damian's soul passed on.
Upon arriving in the Hells, Damian, while disappointed about being killed and having to leave his sister behind, was excited to finally join his father. But as soon as he arrived he was plagued by visions of angels, the celestial planes, and redemption. Damian could find no explanation for his terrible visions and worried that if his father or any other powerful Devil found out about them, he could lose everything. Now Damian seeks out a way to return to the Material Plane outside the purview of his father, giving the excuse that he has "unfinished business" that he must take care of before he can join Abaddon. Damian hopes to return to the living realm in hopes of finding the priest who killed him in order to explain and hopefully put an end to his dreams.

Through his infernal bloodline Damian ha powerful sorcerer like abilities, granting him a mastery over powerful spell work. In addition he was granted powerful warlock magic from his father in order to achieve his many goals. These powers came with two gifts, one being an imp servant Damian calls {insert} and the spirit of a Hell Hound like beast whose spirit is stored within a tattoo on Damian's hand that Damian has named {insert}..
