Aurora Luna Wynterstarr is a Neutral-Aligned Dhampir First-Year General Studies Student at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. Despite being an adept and renowned performer, she is adamant that she plans to join Witherbloom's College of Growth, for reasons that she doesn't seem too inclined to share. She is a member of the Deroulex Show Band Association, though she quarrels with them from time to time over musical ideals. She also works as a Groundskeeper for Deroulex Stadium and the Aerojaunt Field, blighting away plants with her magic.
Personal History
Aurora Luna Wynterstarr, born as Aurora de Compasso, was part of an up-and-coming noble family who wanted to stake power on Isonhound by many means necessary, and through their criminal connections formed a reputation as two distinct families - The House of Hope, and The House of Fear. While The House of Hope handled all public appearances, The House of Fear, Aurora's house, was known for its dark dealings both with people inside and outside of its walls. Most famously known within both sects of the family is Aurora, who was born a Dhampir to a high-elf father and a vampire mother.
Aurora did her best to live up to her mother's wishes and ideals, but eventually, the secret came out that she was not true-blooded like her mother, which caused quite a bit of disarray between Aurora's mother and father. Being masters of political violence, Aurora was used as a pawn between the two. Aurora, being young at the time, was content to play the role until her mother crossed a line, attempting to turn Aurora into a true vampire by biting her. The curse didn't hold, and while she developed her mother's Sangromancy as a result, she was left with horrible flare-ups where she experiences the pains of being a vampire without the joys of it.
Shockingly, Aurora and her family remained close, but somewhat estranged due to her family's cold nature. However, everything was turned on its head when an incident happened in the House of Hope, when Lucy de Compasso shattered her groom, leaving him a shell of his former self. Aurora resonated with them, and ran away from home. She changed her legal name, and vowed to never return home. She's good at covering her tracks, and her family has yet to find her.
