The Darkson Princess was a famous sandship that toured around the major ports of inland Pteris
In late 999 PR, the ship was purchased by the Dark Sons of Nymphsview and very conspicuously renamed to The Darkson Princess (its previous name unknown) before making its maiden voyage to its new home dock.
Captain's Greetings[edit | edit source]
During the ship's first-ever voyage to Nymphsview in 999 PR, the captain Mimir Paulsen greeted the guests with the following message:
"Good morning! A few of you may recognize my voice. Many of you, I am sure, heard me making announcements over the interhorn on the way in. Thanks so much for coming to our brunch. It's an honor to have you all onboard the DarkSon Princess. I want to start by saying that I am honored to be your captain for this voyage. I have sailed all over the realm, but this is my first season going to Nymphsview. I have been a sandship pilot for many years and have been a captain for a little over two decades. I have taken this ship from Serrinville to destinations along the Kreen Lands and along the eastern seafront. I have been to Dra-Trin, the Darjhaaz, the (Clicking Sounds), Hissar, Fyurl, and the Giant Baselands of Fiddlehead, Swardly, New Nawfar, Ostrom, and, yes, even Squat. I have been to Arthureal, Oakhurst, and even Vernvine before the destruction. But this is my first time going to Nymphsview. I am looking forward to our journey, and I hope you are too! I have been with this ship for many years. I have seen many people come and go on this ship, and I am happy to see so many friends here today, including my first officer Kilkenny. We are about to embark on an amazing journey, and I hope that you enjoy the cruise. I know that the crew and I will do everything we can to ensure you enjoy this experience.
My first announcement is that the buffet has been set up, and the staff will begin serving shortly. Feel free to help yourself to anything. I also want to thank the crew for their hard work. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask and they will be happy to assist you.
I also wanted to make a very special announcement before I start the rounds ̶ that Zelda and Ambrose are now officially married! I know that many of you are on this cruise today at their invitation. I want to ask them to come up here and tell me something about their honeymoon. Zelda and Ambrose, please come up and say a few words!"
