Backstory[edit | edit source]
Victory is the illegitimate child of a Noble. Before the Noble could "decide" what to do with the incoming child, Victory's Mother "hope" left the town. As a result he has been raised essentially on the run. His father was not going to kill him nor his mother, but the mother decided that his indecision and lack of firm decision was enough to warrant a running away. He was raised with this in mind, "be aware of your surroundings and always stay true to what will keep you safe."
Time passed an his mother was killed in front of him while they were settling down in a well established town. Because of how sudden the attack was, as it was in broad daylight, Victory was able to run away. Later he would find out hope's assailants didn't even know he had been born. they didn't kill her because of his birth father's desires. Hope was killed because she was traveling with a female bard who had too many run ins with the law, and her misdeeds were deemed punishable by death on sight.
