About the Department[edit | edit source]
The College of Transmutation, Chemistry, and Architecture constitutes one of the more practical departments in the University, with many graduates completing their program and then immediately applying to help maintain the magical infrastructure of the University. Many of the magical miracles of Xyrneiros, from its teleportation circles to its indoor plumbing system were created, improved, and maintained by members of the College of Transmutation. Beyond the immediate practical applications, a degree in Transmutation prepares graduates for any number of lucrative careers in construction, design, or potion-brewing.

Brewing incredibly strong moonshine with seniors of the College of Restoration. It’s also widely known that some of the best cooks on campus are often Transmutation majors, so it’s not uncommon for pop-up restaurants to open in the lounges or kitchens of dormitories with multiple Transmutation majors of the same cohort in the building.
