Patches Vanderburg is confident in their own abilities and does what they can to instill confidence in others. They respect life. People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. They protect those who cannot protect themselves. Patches is convinced of the significance of their destiny, and can be blind to their shortcomings and the risk of failure.

History

Patches Vanderburg has a deep loathing for demons. They are on a holy mission to bring down vengeance upon the demons for destroying their city and the countless lives that have been lost there and since. This holy vendetta empowers Patches's very existence, for they are a product of the combined will (and flesh) of people the demons have slain crying out for justice and the end the suffering caused by them. Patches yearns to administer the divine smite that demons fear most. Patches has been following the trail of carnage left by the demons from their city that inevitably led straight to the arboretum.
