Bel's Golden Aegis
| Type | Armor |
|---|
Bel's Golden Aegis is a gleaming golden breastplate forged and worn by the pit fiend warlord Bel. After Bel's death at the failed execution of the archduchess of Duumal, Elytria, the armor was first claimed by warlock Aliria Servine before it was given to the clockwork sorcerer Aivan Factorovich.
Description[edit | edit source]
Forged in the infernal forges of Duumal and quenched in angelic blood, this radiant golden breastplate gleams like molten brass. It hums faintly with the echoes of ancient legions and those who have been slain by Bel.

Bel’s Golden Aegis
Legendary, Armor, Requires Attunement
Creatures do not need proficiency in heavy armor to wear this aegis. While attuned to the armor, you gain the following benefits:
- Your AC is 18
- You gain resistance to fire damage
- Allies within 30 feet of you gain a +1 to initiative rolls and saving throws
- When an ally within 30 feet fails a saving throw, you can use your reaction to let them reroll, taking the new result. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Intelligence or Charisma modifier (minimum 1) per long rest.
- General's Last Stand: When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you instead drop to 1 hit point and trigger a shockwave of fire and fear. All creatures of your choice within 30 feet take 8d8 fire damage (Dexterity save DC 18 for half) and must succeed on a Wisdom save (DC 18) or become frightened until the end of their next turn.
