The Haar
A newer discovery for most, The Haar is a naturally occurring energy in the land of Quelmar. It manifests in places that murder, revenge, unceremonious burial, and wrongful death have taken place. It is the energy with which vengeful spirits guide themselves by and utilize to enact their will on the world of the living.
Recently, Haar has been weaponized by The Blowt and the denizens in Orbis. Using the Haar has allowed the vengeful Frost Giants of Orbis to manifest in the world of the living and possess bodies in places with intense amounts of Haar. It has also been documented that Haar can be utilized as a weapon by certain Blowted persons, specifically Saurus the Guardian of the Blowhole.*
It has also been found that large concentrations of Haar can be made by nonviolent means. In the north of the Continent a town of Harringon called The Burrow has been so buried in snow thanks to the Freeze that Haar has accumulated in response to burying the entire village alive.*
