The Storm Rune is a giant rune of immense power imbued with the magic of the lost giant goddess Othea, the Shattered Mountain and given to the storm giant sorcerer Thrya Stormbreaker. The rune was placed inside Thrya's crystal scrying orb.

This crystal orb hums with quiet power, clouds swirling endlessly within its depths. Occasional flashes of lightning illuminate strange visions. The rune engraved within pulses with sapphire light, its energy both calm and cataclysmic.
Properties
- Danger Premonition. You gain advantage on initiative rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks. You can’t be surprised while conscious, as faint visions warn you of impending danger a heartbeat before it strikes.
- Stormsight. You can use the orb to cast Scrying, Clairvoyance and Detect Thoughts at will, without material components.
- Wrath of the Goddess. As an action, you may command the storm within the orb to erupt. Choose one of the following effects:
- Lightning Judgment. A bolt of divine lightning strikes a point you can see within 60 feet. Each creature within 10 feet of that point must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw , taking 6d10 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much on a success.
- Thunderous Rebuke. All hostile creatures within 15 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 4d10 thunder damage and be pushed 15 feet away.
- Divine Insight. When you or a creature you can see within 30 feet makes an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can use your reaction to grant advantage or disadvantage to that roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses after a long rest.
