Ki'lana of the Lunar Light/Flame (depending on her mood) is a Pterran Lunar Sorcerer who appears in the Court of Bloom and Blade campaign.

Ki'lana is a small Pterran child with sandy amber scales and starry silver eyes.
Personality[edit | edit source]
As a child, Ki'lana is still very innocent and mainly cares about having fun. She still understands serious topics such as death, and has a singleminded hatred of Tamzu and the Coven of Decay for what they have done during the events of Bloom and Blade.

As a Pterran, Ki'lana can speak Common and Pterran (duh), and learned Sylvan while growing up in the Court of Blossoms.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Ki'lana has exceptional magic abilities as a Sorcerer. She has a Font of Magic that she can manipulate to give herself energy to cast more spells and use as a spark of Magical Guidance. Ki'lana is also able Quicken the casting speed of a spell, Empower the damage of a damaging spell, Transmute elemental spell damage and Heighten a spell's effects to make it harder to resist.
As a Lunar Sorcerer, Ki'lana wields the Lunar Light, which can also manifest as the Lunar Flame, and provides her with different abilities depending on the Moon's phases. Full Moon focuses on protection, which enhances Abjuration and Divination spells while also generating soothing Lunar Light that can heal allies and blind enemies. New Moon creates harmful shadows that enhance Enchantment and Necromancy spells and can inflict necrotic damage to enemies while cloaking Ki'lana's presence. Cresent Moon mixes Full Moon and New Moon, enhancing Illusion and Transmutation spells, providing resistance to necrotic and radiant damage, and warps moonlight into a protective veil that can teleport an ally to safety.
Additionally, Ki'lana's magic has shaped itself to enhance her personal abilities. Constant exposure to the Feywild have made her Fey-Touched, giving her the ability manipulate fey magics to Misty Step and Hex enemies. The Moon's constant magic has also turned Ki'lana into a War Caster, making it easier for her to concentrate on spells and cast spells during an attack of opportunity. The Lunar Light has also manifested in the form of Luck, which helps in a pinch when an attack almost misses, an ability check is failed, or if Ki'lana fails to save against an effect. A Lunar Dragon has also taken a liking to Ki'lana, blessing her with a Gift of the Metallic Dragon that allows her to manifest shimmering silver wings to deflect attacks and conjure healing light to Cure Wounds.
