Markoth Dawnborn is a Scourge Aasimar Paladin who has taken the Oath of Vengeance and has sworn to eliminate any dragonkin that seeks to harm life.
Physical Appearance
Markoth was born a female, but has a very androgynous appearance due to their celestial nature. Their divine background also bestows them with shimmering skin, golden eyes, and fiery red hair. Their years of training with the Revengers has given them a very buff physique, which is very rarely seen as Markoth hates removing their armor in case of a dragon attack.
Personality
Markoth is a very gung-ho individual, and is very chill, having as good of a time both on and off the battlefield. You would never guess from their actions that they a deep sadness for their lost family, but they do have a hard time containing their deep hatred for dragonkin and any others that invoke their wrath.
History
Markoth Dawnborn used to be a normal human born to normal human parents. They lived peacefully in some far off farm town that's name has been long forgotten. Her father Bob used to be an adventurer but put down is sword to live a life of peace after Markoth was born. Markoth never knew their real mother, as their father told them that she wasn't exactly made for the simple farmer life, but his father remarried to a local named Lorretta. Unfortunately, none of that matters as they and all the other no named villagers died in a dragon attack that razed the town to the ground. Markoth was the only survivor, as their mothers celestial blood ignited in their veins, shielding them from harm. Standing in the ruins of the aftermath, with everything and everyone they knew and loved burnt to a crisp, their awakened divine energy merged with their rage, giving them a burning desire to avenge the fallen and destroy the dragons that ruined their life.
Philosophy
Markoth completely despises dragonkin, and while recognizes that there are so called "good" dragons out there, and has even met some, will never trust them. They are even part of an organization (Protectors of the People) that killed one of these "good" dragons because said dragon wanted to reset the world by wiping all life out, demonstrating that the only "Good" Dragon is a dead dragon. Anyone who aids or worships dragonkin are as terrible as the dragons themselves and while Markoth will work together with them for the greater good, will never trust them.
Powers and Abilities
Markoth's divine blood awakened hidden powers within themselves after barely surviving the dragon attack on their village. As such, they are now resistant to radiant and necrotic magics, can give someone a light amount healing by touching them with their Lay on Hands and their Divine Touch, and can ignite themselves with radiant light that burns so bright, it burns any who dares approach. Markoth training as a Paladin gives them access to Paladin spells, which lets them summon their Celestial Warhorse Seraph, as well as the ability to infuse their weapon with Holy Smites, a divine sense of nearby celestial or demonic foes, and the ability to channel divine energy onto their foes.
Attacks and Weapons
Markoth never goes into battle without their trusty Glaive, allowing them to easily cut down their foes from horseback or the ground. After nearly dying to an Adult Black Dragon that managed to barely escape, Markoth has also taken up a Heavy Crossbow to take out any cowards that try to run from their vengeance.
