While they were enslaved, the Relic Dragons demanded that, whenever possible, the Relith be not seen as they were considered so far below the Dragons. The dragons would never look them in the eye while communicating with them, remaining aloft and haughty. Over time, as a sign of respect for each other and other creatures, they developed the greeting "I see you" while gesturing to their left eye. It has come to mean many things to the Relith, not only that a creature is physically seen, but often emotionally seen.

The Relith are a sub-species of the Gith, taken from the mind flayers millennia ago and altered by the Relic Dragons to be a servant race. They were liberated during the Relic Wars and joined the Cooperative.

They appear as shades of blue through their augmentations by the Relic Dragons, they were given resistance to the cold climate of the Relith homeworld. To control their population, they were engineered to require a third gender to procreate.

They vary from 6-8 ft. tall, with whispy hair in blacks or whites. They tend to live longer than normal Gith, reaching adulthood in their mid 20s and reaching ages of up to 200 years.
