The Soctmine are an illusive race of monstrous looking creatures who live in and around the Amusa canyons.
Behind the Screen[edit | edit source]
- The Soctmine were created in 2005 (a full 8 years before Quelmar) as part of a school project by 10 year old User:Spiderjjr45. To celebrate the wiki hitting 1,000 pages, James was able to dig up some old material. The land of Kelogo, therefore, can be considered a proto-Quelmar, though James wouldn't touch fantasy fiction storytelling until nearly another decade later.
- The incorporation of the Soctmine into the Quelmar world was solidified when the Soctmine found their way into the Curated Chronicles of Quelmar, with a completely new reinterpretation done by fellow members of the community based on nothing other than the old artwork.
