As part of the second holy war, [[Tiamat]]'s alliance with the other Archdukes and Archduchess lead to a special [Unnamed] pact that was used throughout the war, in which souls across Quelmar that were en route to their afterlives were sometimes intercepted and convinced to work against the realm, being given a chance to return to Quelmar and keep living, but as vengeful wraiths, [[Ghost|ghosts]], spirits, and "psychobombs" (derived from psychopomps).
