Not only is Thuchor a brilliant captain of industry, he is also well-known for his success in battle. His unique tactics of "leading from behind", "watching from a distance"  and "not getting involved" have led him safely through many victories.

== Early Life ==
Born in the boggy marshlands of the planet Endi, Thuchor Montcorra was the second son of Matriarch Estellia "The Lightbulb" Montcorra. Stifled by the restraints of life in the bucolic Endian countryside, a teenage Thuchor bartered passage onto a visiting spaceship to seek his fortune in the stars.

Thuchor's firm commitment to free-market principles underlies his strict "no refunds" policy. This has earned criticism from some quarters, but Thuchor has always maintained that any consequences arising from business dealings with him are "solely the responsibility of the person who didn't read the fine print, ultra-fine print or microscopic print".

== Activities on Quelmar ==
Following an unfortunate misunderstanding with Walrus pirates, Thuchor's personal vessel the ''SS Lucre'' <s>crashed</s> made an emergency landing on Quelmar. Losing no time in making business connections, Thuchor aligned himself with the [[SS NoSink]], a seagoing vessel apparently involved in the exciting world of turnip trade. Since his arrival, Thuchor has become considerably rich in turnips, a native vegetable of Quelmar of inestimable value.

Following his <s>negligible</s> ''decisive'' contributions to the defeat of the foul Jabberwock Tranquil the Terrible, Thuchor came into posession of a small fortune of 2,400 gold, which he has since promptly reinvested into the foundation of a factory. Employing over three dozen workers, Thuchor Inc. is the leading producer of imitation turnip juice in the continent of [[Amusa]]. 

== Battle tactics ==
It was Sun Tzu who said "In a battle, always hide behind the largest rock, tree or bystander"<sup>[citation needed]</sup>. Thuchor holds this advice firmly to his heart, near where his money is kept. More of a leader than a follower, Thuchor prefers to lead by following from a great distance. Like any good manager, Thuchor delegates his battle responsibilities to those in a better position to be in the way of an angry dragon.
