Tinkerton Tinklebottom is a Rock Gnome Artificer, with a quirky personality and love of invention and craft.

Physical Appearance

Tinkerton is a well put together gnome, he is smaller than most at 2'11" and shorter too due to a hunch in his posture. He has white hair and a nice goatee and mustache ruined slightly at the tips with burning and clear singe marks from explosions of fire.

He always dresses well, with a button up shirt and vest that matches his leather pants, his monocle is of his own invention and is more of a style piece than anything. All of his gear is made from himself or other craftsman if he is not able to construct certain articles (like clothing made from Silks/Linen). He looks like a happy and cute grandfather and at times can definitely appear as so.

Personality

Tinkerton is a man of a few words, a few rambling high pitched and raspy words.

He is definitely a kind soul, and has lived a very full life, but he in his old age can be snappish and rude when he has not eaten or fully rested.

History

Early to Mid Life

He grew up and spent all of his life in Troverth with his Wife Tinkerbelle. The two of them had 2 kids Tinkle & Tinkerina. He often talks of these two but never of his long passed wife. All of his family was raised in the clan to be craftsmen, A passion that has been handed down to all of the Tinker's in his family along with friends that they made through generation to generation. He was always someone to be at the cutting edge of making weapons and certain trinkets, his passion was to make legendary smithing gear but it also would lead to his largest tragedy in life. Tinkerton, around his 440th year had taken the life of Tinkerbelle his wife in a huge explosion making a weapon that would be his last. This mistake haunted him and if it was not for his kids he never would have crafted again.

Life Now

His 2 kids got him out of the house, he adorned his gear and decided to honor his late wife he would travel the world as an adventurer and spread the Tinker name, and make great pieces along the way...but never again shall he make a weapon for the wrong person or anyone but himself again. As an old man he has a surprising Constitution thanks to all the explosions and constant failures he endured, he is at the pinnacle of Gnomes in terms of age and there are not many of his kind out there as old as he, this is something that would make many want to rest and enjoy their time with their families, but Tinkerton knows his 2 kids can craft and push on their name that way, but he needs to find an honorable death and bring his creations all over the world!

Powers and Abilities

He is an old man, and uses his magical and crafting skills to enhance his own armor so that he won't be injured in combat. In terms of abilities he uses his shield and gauntlets mostly to do damage but isn't afraid to use a few spells to hurt enemies, heal allies or bolster his ranks.
